Recruitment of Academic Associates in Economics area

IIM Kashipur intends to create a panel of Academic Associates in the Economics area. The said panel of Academic Associates will be valid for a year and whenever there is a vacancy the appointment will be sent to the next highest ranked candidate in the panel.

Job responsibilities: Academic Associate (AA) will assist the faculty in teaching and research related activities.

Required qualifications: MA or equivalent in Economics from reputed institution and preferably a first class in Masters or with M.Phil.

Remuneration: Academic Associates will be given a stipend of Rs. 20,000/- to Rs.30, 000/- per month depending on qualification, experience, merit and performance in the interview/test. Support will be provided for attending one national conference in a year.

Duration: : Appointments will be made purely on contract basis for a period of one year initially and renewable annually, subject to satisfactory performance, but generally limited to three years

Age: Preferably below 35 years.

Selection process: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in person, by phone or via Skype. Candidates are requested to provide their Skype ID and phone number in the application.

7. Applicants should upload the scanned (digital) image of their photograph as per the guidelines. They should note that only jpg format is acceptable, size of photograph should not be greater than 50 Kb, dimension of image : width = 75 px and height = 75 px.
